What is the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit OS?

1.  What is the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit OS?
64 bit of operating system is more powerful than 32-bit operating system. If you want to use 4GB or more Random Access Memory (RAM) in your PC then it is necessary to have 64 bit OS because 32 bit OS cannot support high amount of RAM.

Now if you want to install windows with 64 bit OS then first you need to know that is your Processor is capable to support 64 bit OS.

2. How to tell if my PC is running 32-bit or 64-bit version of windows?

To check is your pc running 32-bit or 64-bit version of windows you just need to check by going to bellow location.

Click on start button then right click on My Computer and then go to Properties then under the System you can find system type.

3. How to tell if my processor is capable to install 64-bit OS or Not?

Click on start button then right click on My Computer and then go to Properties then under the System you can find system type here if you found 64-based processor then your processor is 64 bit capable otherwise it is only 32 bit capable

Thank You.
